THE ARTIST

The artist grew up in Northern California painting in both oils and watercolor. She spent a year abroad studying in Florence and the surrounding area, receiving a BA in Visual Arts from Stanford University.

This experience sparked a passion for adventure and travel.

She filled sketch books with images and memories that later inspired her work.She has exhibited in galleries in Monterey California, Aspen Colorado and Lahaina Maui. As a graphic designer and photographer she settled in the San Francisco Bay Area pursuing her career and returning to school to get an MA in Educational Technology.

Currently she resides part-time in Aspen Colorado, Carmel California and Maui Hawaii, where she continues to exhibit and write short stories and novels, has been published in several anthologies.

THE WRITER

The writer draws from varied experiences in life.

She's been a rehabilitation physical therapist, a deck hand, a ski pro, a photographer/designer, a therapeutic masseuse, and a private chef. Her degrees range from a BA in Visual Arts to an MA in Physical Therapy and another in Educational Technology. She's lived and worked in Italy, Greece, and the United States and traveled extensively (usually solo with a carry-on bag immersing herself in new cultures). 

Currently she resides part time in Lahaina Maui, Aspen Colorado, and Carmel California, She recently retired from teaching skiing after twenty-five years and continues to work as a therapeutic massage therapist and a private chef.

She is a published short story writer with Maui Writers Ink and recently completed a novel.
